Looking further to the left from the bench on Loughrigg Fell: Wetherlam – Swirl How – Great Carrs – Wryness Pass – Pike o’Blisco – Crinkle Crags (just visible) and Bowfell.
The view from Loughrigg right to left (beyond the trees): Coniston Old Man – which leads along the ridge to Brim Fell just visible before Wetherlam rises in front of it. Behind the ridge continues to Swirl How and before the ridge continues further along to Great Carrs on to the Wrynose Pass and the beginning of Pike o’ Blisco.
The River Brathay leads on to Elterwater further up stream.
