Youngsters are so affectionate aren’t they . . . so sweet . . . anyway, getting back to the views!  This time Bassenthwaite Lake is beyond us with Lord’s Seat on the far left then Barf with Binsey; Dodd (dark and barely discernible in front of Ullock Pike.  Swinside is just beyond my rucksack! (Photograph taken from the route up Catbells).

Photograph taken from Catbells of the Northern Fells left to right: Binsey; Ullock Pike (the fell with the bump on it) with Dodd in front.  Along the ridge from Ullock Pike is Long Side, then Carl Side.  Skiddaw towering above the other fells.  To the right of Skiddaw is Skiddaw Little Man leading down to Lonscale Fell.  Keswick is the town in the valley and Derwent Water is on the right of the photograph with Bassenthwaite Lake on the left of the photograph. Swinside is the wooded fell to the left of Catbells.
